family tree

i have a very cool family. i have a mum who is conservative yet outrageous at the same time. she is a lawyer, and she does good. she is v generous with her time and energy. she works with world vision and flies all over the world. sometimes brings back colleagues from africa for dinner. her mind is always ticking. and she is endlessly caring, loving, and just so sincere. i have a dad who i inherited my cheekiness from. he's goofy and v inappropriate, but also has amazing insight and perception. has incredible discernment about management of people. and is very wise. always has time to take his daughter to the park to the nets or to play catch. i have a brother who grew from being a weird, geeky, and unconfident kid into a weird, cool geeky, and amazing guy. he speaks thru his fingers on the ivories more beautifully than anyone i know. he has wisdom which i think ill never get used to. he knows exactly what to say when i need it. and he also manages to say exactly the wrong thing when i dont need it. he is witty, entertaining, cynical, but beautiful. i heart him. i have another brother, who is so different but equally amazing. he makes graphics and movies to a standard that has me thinking it was done professionally. he is quirky and funny, and v sweet hearted, always looking to do the right thing. he has a terribly oppressive conscience, which i think is a great testament to how much of a genuine person he is. he is very very funny. i have an aunty who lives on the other side of the world who is my soul-sister. she is an amazing artist, and incredible poet. my uncle over there is such a sweet man. he is incredible with technology, and is such a good man. i have an aunty and uncle who live a street away. he is a cardiac surgeon with a cynical wit, and she is a bubbly bundle of laughter who is dilligent in her care for other people. their son is an hilarious man who has just become a doctor, and who aspires to be like dr cox from scrubs. a very, very witty guy. his wife is a stunningly gorgeous, refreshingly genuine, and slyfully funny doctor who would go to afghanistan to tell ppl about jesus if her parents would let her. i have an aunty and uncle who live two suburbs away. one is a clergyman, and the other is a headmistress. one is very eccentric, and the other is lovely, funny, and clever. they have five children. the eldest, and only son, is an incredible maths tutor, a fireman, and has a degree in chemical engineering. the eldest daughter is my twin, both by appearance and in temperament. she's a psychologist and i love everything about her. i totally did not mean that to be an indirect glory statement. the middle child is a nutritionist who is amazingly beautiful and is v funny. her husband is a cheeky little guy who is a bag of fun. v witty, and simply hilarious to be around. then there are the twins. gorgeous, fiery, and passionate about everything they do. competitive, but so much fun. both are married to over achievers who are both incredible. one of whom is a mix between jack johnson and kelly slater. i have two uncles who are bachelors. one is quirky, a bit bizarre, and likes to give everyone obscure books every christmas. the other is a lovely man who shouldnt be alive today, but because of his stubborn will to live, continues to fight it out. i love them both. my grandma is an incredible women. her mother died when she was 13. her brother died in the war. she was amongst the first to visit indigenous communities in the NT, helping them with projects. she is a superwoman, who is constantly caring, loving, and cooking. my grandpa is an incredible man. formerly in the army intelligence during the war, he didnt tell a soul about his activities until his superior officer published a book about it. 50 years later. he is a man with an incredible memory, and astounding insight. a very, very, funny man, he calls his granddaughter "wench" over sunday lunch. blessed to have such an amazing family.
