most of the time, i think we just let life happen to us. we are often passive, and let whatever current take us along.
i think that's not all bad, in the sense of not stressfully planning every second of your time.
but i also think it's important to take control when you find yourself in a cycle that isn't so great.
i've come to the conclusion that i won't be going to uni next semester. i will work three half-days a week. i will do gym and physio every day. i will have thursday as a day when i drop off the radar. i will learn to dwell in God's presence - not just talk about it or rush through it to get to the application point.
i am so excited.
time to breathe again.

Thursdays are for gwood
for some - not me ;)
You are a veyr wise young woman listening to your body.
Be strengthend in body and spirit as you have this break Steph.
(Thursdays are my "day off" too !)
I pray that God will use this time for you to grow in him.
i love you.
"time to breathe again."
Awesome.
I just finished reading Breath by Tim Winton when I read your post. It deals so bleakly and morosely at times with the concept of breathing that you could almost see it as a bad thing... but what you're saying here makes so much more sense. Breathe and relish it... know that you're alive in Him and at peace. He gave you breath, so thrive in it. And thanks so much for encouraging us with this!

That speaker at PM a few weeks ago said something that stuck with me:
"We cannot do everything, but we must not do nothing."
You made me think of it just now. I'm not saying your time off is "doing nothing" - in fact, I'm saying the opposite.
You're right to take time off if you feel you're doing too much. Use your time for good - use your time for God.
It's important to take breaks so you can sort out where you're going, what you're doing. I pray this time off will help you discover where to go next in life.
May God guide you to find purpose in peace.
