this year, there are a few things that i would like for our church to do regularly:

1. pray. monthly prayer groups, however small. for healing. for whatever needs prayer.
2. worship fully. serving the poor, the widows, the orphans, the needy. not with tokenism. with dedication. pour ourselves out for them. and wait on God to sustain us.
3. create. express artistically the joy we have in Jesus and what He has done for, in and through us to bring Himself glory. make our church spaces reflect that more fully.
4. be a refuge. for all types in society. hold open table conversations over dinner and share with people the stories of Jesus changing lives.
5. community. have biographies regularly put up (video?) on the screen. have notices that are pre-prepared.
