greater things are yet to come

I was doing some thinking at the gym, and before I forget, wanted to write some things down...

An event. 'Reality'. Hold at St Alban's Lindfield Hall. Once every 2 months. Music in chunks - continuous praise. Storytelling of siblings who have been doing something real with their faith - ie. Bel Clough, Tubby, Alanna - to give everyone an idea of things they can be doing. Showcase a cause/charity/organisation each time. Invite a rep from said charity to do the brief and stay up the back with a stall. PRAY in smaller groups. Possibly a DVD of Louie as an optional afterwards.

Register at door. Have a team who link each person up with group of 5 or so, from different churches, to establish relationships and conversations. These will also hopefully act as 'accountability groups', for want of a better term.

The idea of having it every 2 months is that in the interim time between 'reality' sessions, each person goes back to their church and does something. Practical, and starting small. In the Accountability Groups, they'll be able to get diff perspectives from diff churches. We'll link people from the same church together, and they can pool all their ideas and choose one each time.

Each time, at the 'reality' session, a church will be able to prepare a 3 min video sharing what they have done, to give other groups ideas.

We'll use the existing FB group to record all ideas, to keep them all available to use. In categories, ie. kid's engagement, youth outreach, schools, community groups, etc.

Maybe each time we'll oscillate between mission report and cause/charity.

Gotta run. Thoughts?
